This year for NYCxDESIGN we will be taking part in Make Use, an exhibition of 14 West Coat designers, curated by Join Design and Rejuvenation. Make Use is collection of objects for the home that celebrate the harmony between form and function through the marriage of materiality and process, craft and purpose. This curated collection of objects embrace raw materials, celebrate the maker's hand, and honor the everyday. This group of independent studios have designed objects that connect the user, the maker, the material and the process.

Make Use will take place at ICFF on May 21 - 24 at the Javits Center in NYC. Visit booth 233.

See us at ICFF + Sight Unseen Offsite!

We will be back at ICFF to debut two collections of hardware on May 14-17th at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. The new collections are natural extensions of Alice's current work, building upon themes of simple forms and integrated functionality. The new work will be on exhibit along with her collection of sculptural and functional accessories.

Additional new work includes the Glyph Mirror Collection, a collection of high polished copper and stainless steel modular mirrors that can be used individually or configured into groupings, and the Nikki Stool, a cube-like maple or walnut slab stool that can be flipped, grouped or stacked.

If you are looking for something to do, and it involves local designers, and the east bay, and shopping for pretty stuff, you need to come to this.  I personally know a handful of these amazing designers and their work is stunning, and I can't wait to see what everyone has to show. I will have a smattering of my accessories for sale, so if you are looking for a fathers day gift or something for yourself because you are awesome, then come on by and check us out.
