MAILBOX FOR JOIN DESIGN
With Join Design, for the exhibit Make Use at ICFF 2017. The mailbox is a necessity for every house but is most often overlooked. This mailbox, composed of a copper matchbox shell and a sliding ash box, is both a utilitarian and a sculptural object that keeps weather out and mail in. The unfinished copper will patina richly over time with exposure to the elements.
